This 320 m2 rest cabin was designed by Arq. Ronald Zürcher, who disposed it to have three descending levels alongside a hill, and adapted to the terrain's natural topography. Mostly made by carefully chosen almond tree wood, one of the most humidity resistant available , it has teak floor and a few concrete structural walls which were stuccoed to match the wood and naturally green environment. Principal access is through the superior level, where the social areas such as the dining and living room are located, together with a minibar and an ample kitchen. The visits bathroom and the main bedroom are located here, surrounded by balconies that lead directly to the tree tops. Many other advantages can be found inside, such as air conditioning whenever neccesary, and the full featured jacuzzi located in the main room balcony. |

    The lower levels comprise more bedrooms, nice social areas and contemplation sites, ideal for the enjoyment of family members and friends. All interior decoration was made by interior design specialist Tobías Karolicky, who tuned the design with the surroundings, giving it a rustic and ethnic accent, specially some African details requested by family preferences. Most of the furnitures come from New York and Miami antiques, and the iron lamps and decoration details were based on the theme from one of the daughter's wedding. ¡Enjoy life, exactly as nature intended it to be, at Refugio de la Doña! |
